Who we are

Data we collect

When you place an order we collect: your name, phone number or LINE ID, email address (optional), and delivery address (if applicable). We also record your order date and contents.

Why we collect it

Solely to fulfil your order — to bake your cookies, confirm receipt, contact you if there is a problem, and arrange handover or delivery. Lawful basis: contract performance.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 3 years for accounting and food-safety traceability, then permanently deleted.

Who sees your data

• Our team (baker and one assistant) — for order fulfilment.
• Resend.com — for sending order-confirmation emails (processor only, not a controller).
• LINE — for order messaging (LINE's own privacy policy applies to their service).

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing.

Payment data

We do not store payment details. All payments are made directly via PromptPay. We never see or store your bank account or card information.

Your rights under Thailand's PDPA

Under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 you have the right to: access a copy of your data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion (subject to our legal retention obligations); and object to processing beyond order fulfilment.

Cookies & tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site (pages visited, session duration, general location by country). Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. The data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify you personally from it. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by their service. We do not use advertising trackers or share data with any ad networks.

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an encrypted database. Access is limited to authorised team members only.

Changes

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page.

Terms & Conditions

1. About us

Big T's Bakery is a home-based baking business operating in Bangkok, Thailand. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. Orders

• Orders are placed through our website and confirmed via LINE once payment is received.
• We accept orders every day. Orders placed before 2:00 PM receive next-day delivery; orders placed after 2:00 PM are delivered the following day.
• We reserve the right to cancel any order we cannot safely fulfil. You will be notified and a full refund arranged.

3. Payment

• We accept payment by PromptPay only.
• Baking begins only once payment is confirmed. Please send your slip promptly.
• Prices are in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

4. Delivery

• We deliver within the Sukhumvit corridor (Phrom Phong, Thonglor, Ekkamai, Asok, Nana, Phloen Chit). A flat ฿60 delivery fee applies.
• Delivery timings are agreed at the time of order. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or events outside our control.

5. Cancellations & refunds

• Cancelled before payment confirmed: no charge.
• Cancelled after payment but before baking starts: full refund.
• Cancelled after baking has started: no refund (ingredients used).
• Wrong or damaged order: contact us within 24 hours and we will make it right.

6. Allergens

Our products are baked in a home kitchen that also handles nuts, dairy, eggs, and wheat. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. It is your responsibility to check allergen information before ordering if you have a food allergy or intolerance.

7. Food safety

Cookies are made fresh to order. Consume within 3 days of collection and store in a cool, dry place.

8. Photos & social media

We love when customers share photos! By tagging @bigtsbakery on social media you grant us permission to repost your content with credit.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of our ordering service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Big T's Bakery is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we have done

• All images include descriptive alt text.
• Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements throughout the site.
• The site is fully navigable by keyboard. Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements.
• ARIA labels are applied to icon-only buttons and live regions (order status, toast messages).
• Text resizes without loss of content or functionality up to 200%.
• The order form uses explicit <label> associations with all inputs.
• Language is declared in the HTML element (lang="en" / lang="th").
• Icing colour swatches are identified by name in addition to colour — usable without colour vision.
• The PromptPay account number is displayed in plain text above the QR code for users who cannot scan QR codes.

Known limitations

• The language toggle is currently a visual switch; screen-reader users may prefer to use their browser's built-in translation feature.
• Some older mobile browsers may have reduced support for certain CSS layout features; core ordering functionality remains available in all cases.

Technical specification

This website is built with semantic HTML5, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. No third-party frameworks that could introduce accessibility regressions are used.
